There are properties of all types and sizes in our valley. Many of us enjoy living in town where we can walk to Main Street and the River Park. If you prefer a larger acreage, you can be nestled in the trees to the west of town or live on the east side of the valley and enjoy the broad views of the Sawatch Range. My suggestion is to find the “corner” of the valley that feels right to you, then proceed with your property search.
Here in Chaffee County most brokers belong to the Multiple Listing Service. That means that any broker can show and sell you any property. So first find a broker with whom you feel comfortable and everything else will fall into place. When interviewing a broker, be sure to ask about agent-client relationships.
